TMS & interventional psychiatry
When it may be time
for another option.
If medication and therapy have not provided enough relief, it may be worth discussing a different approach. The goal is not to chase the newest thing—it is to find a sensible next step for you.
TMS through Sollus Health
Dr. Strunk’s TMS work is through Sollus Health. Consultation, eligibility assessment, treatment, scheduling, billing, and records for this service are handled separately through Sollus—not through Strunk Medical or its Headway appointments.

Transcranial magnetic stimulation uses magnetic pulses delivered by a coil near the scalp to stimulate brain areas involved in mood. It is non-invasive and generally does not require anesthesia. Patients remain awake during treatment.
It may be considered for depression when other treatments have not helped enough. Eligibility depends on an individualized assessment, medical history, device, and treatment protocol.
What should I ask?
- Am I a candidate, and what alternatives should I consider?
- What schedule and number of visits would my treatment require?
- What are the benefits, risks, and likely out-of-pocket costs?
- How will treatment fit with my current care team?
Practical expectations.
Treatment involves repeated visits. Scalp discomfort and headache can occur; seizure is an uncommon but serious risk. A clinician should review implanted devices, seizure history, medications, and other safety considerations. Results vary and improvement is not guaranteed.
