Before you book

Good care starts
with a good fit.

Virtual visits should make getting care easier—not turn it into another full-time job. Here is what this practice offers, and where another setting may serve you better.

Often a good fit

  • Adults physically located in California seeking virtual outpatient psychiatric care.
  • Working moms, young women, professionals, and young adults navigating college or early-career transitions.
  • Military-connected patients and people balancing demanding responsibilities.
  • Medication management, supportive psychotherapy, and a whole-person approach.
  • Patients who would like optional faith-informed care—or prefer to leave faith out of treatment entirely.

Important boundaries

  • This practice is virtual and adult-only.
  • Controlled stimulants, benzodiazepines, sedative-hypnotics, and other controlled medications are not prescribed.
  • Active psychosis, mania, acute safety concerns, or a need for close in-person monitoring may require in-person care or a higher level of support.
  • This is not an emergency or crisis service.

What about ADHD?

ADHD concerns can be evaluated, including consideration of sleep, anxiety, mood, and other factors that affect attention. Appropriate non-controlled treatment options may be discussed. If your goal is a controlled-stimulant prescription or ongoing management of one, this is not the right prescribing practice for that need.

If you currently take a controlled medication, do not stop or change it because of this webpage. Coordinate next steps with your current prescriber.

Appointments that fit real life.

Early-morning and evening availability is generally offered. Headway shows the current schedule in real time and handles insurance verification. Coverage and out-of-pocket costs depend on your specific plan; verify them before booking.

Need urgent help?

For immediate danger or a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. For mental-health crisis support in the United States, call or text 988. Website inquiries and clinic texts are not monitored as an emergency service.

Nexus and independent evaluations follow a separate inquiry process and may be available when the person is physically located in California or Virginia.
